Imogen Olivia Gibbons was born at 2:45 pm Pacific time yesterday, July 19th, 2007. She weighed in at a very healthy seven pounds six ounces, and is perfect in every way.
Here she is being brought into the world by the amazing team at the Lions Gate Hospital.
Her first cry was a loud protest at a rude awakening, but for Susie and I, who never heard our first baby cry, it was a wonderful moment.
Susie coped amazingly well with the surgery, and we were so happy to hold our baby together.
There aren’t any words to describe holding your baby for the first time.
Imogen settled in very quickly to her new environment, and in true Gibbons fashion must have things her own way at all times.
And finally (for now) here she is sleeping peacefully.
