Update At Last

Fifteen days without a post. Let’s hope these photos make up for the delay.

A couple of weeks of early mornings and late nights at the office meant I was glad just to laze about on the sofa with Imogen this morning.

I’m not as young as I used to be, as my haggard appearance here indicates.

While [...]

Weekend Away

We spent this weekend in Tofino at the beautiful Wickaninnish Inn. It was Imogen’s first time out of the city(!) and she was mostly wild with excitement. The Wick as it’s referred to locally has a beautiful restaurant, but initially it seemed as though Imogen was going to be the least popular guest in the [...]

New Favourite Photos

These two are my new favourites.

Photos courtesy of Luisa and Boris…

Valentine’s Baby

Imogen got her first Valentine’s Day gift — a red jumpsuit, which makes her look like a tiny version of spiderman.

As you can see, Imogen can be a very serious baby.

But then there’s bouncing to be done.

I can’t believe how tired I look in this picture. Time for a holiday.

Finally here’s a gratuitous iPhone chewing [...]

Playtime

No matter what toys we give Imogen, she can’t resist the remote controls and cellphones. So here she is playing with the TV remote (sans batteries of course).

Who would have thought Susie and I would have a strong-willed daughter?

She’s got us wrapped us around her little finger already.

Imogen (Almost) Talking

OK, so she’s not saying actual words, but I don’t think she’s doing badly at all, given that she’s not even six months old yet.

Look for her in-depth treatise on the state of the world economy some time next week.

iBaby

Imogen is fascinated by our computers.

Particularly when daddy is on screen.

Imogen With Roisin

Here is Imogen, sitting and playing happily with her cousin Roisin. Of course, the second I shut off the camera Imogen started chattering away, but I’ll get that on film next time.

Reading, sort of…

We opened one of our Christmas presents early. Here is Imogen, fascinated by The Snail and the Whale, sent to her by her aunt Katherine and uncle James.

The trouble is she likes to turn the pages faster than I can read.

Which helps an old man like me keep my brain active, trying to keep up [...]
