Here’s another video of Imogen on her playmat, mostly moving backwards, not forwards.
As you’ll see, Madeline is also keen to be a movie star.

For those of you who’ve been here since the beginning, you’ll remember that Imogen used to hate bathtime. Now it’s one of her favourite things.
Here she is playing with her rubber duck.
And looking slightly annoyed about being taken out of the bath too early.
And finally here’s what happened to Imogen’s old bath — it was [...]
Need evidence that baby clothes have changed? Here’s a list of the clothing brands Imogen has received to date:
Burberry
Chanel
Gucci
Christian Lacroix
Dior
Ralph Lauren
Juicy Couture
Jacadi
My worry isn’t that all these brands reflect poorly on our society. Right now we couldn’t care less about anti-consumerist nonsense; we’re much more concerned to know when she’ll receive the brands missing from [...]
Because Imogen is really learning to crawl, we got her a new playmat yesterday. It consists of soft interlocking tiles in appropriately tasteful shades of brown, blue and yellow.
Apologies for the terrible quality of the photos. We finally found the charger for the proper camera so normal service will resume shortly.

Imogen has sucked her thumb before, but now she’s really worked out how to do so on her first attempt.
Imogen finally got to meet her Grandma, who came to visit from Kelowna.
Here I am, [...]
Morris must be feeling a little insecure. Here he is colonizing Imogen’s new play mat (a generous gift from Anna and Malcolm).
Apologies for the poor photo quality; it was an opportunistic shot.
Morris and Imogen

The second the bedroom door is open, Morris is in the crib (cot for those of you reading across the pond). It’s a good thing the baby monitor is there, in case we need to hear him purring.
Despite our best efforts, Morris and Madeline decided the best way to deal with the new arrival was to colonize her bed.
Unfortunately this means we’ll be shutting them out of our room for a while.
